Real Madrid fans got a serious scare after seeing Facu Campazzo hurting his ankle and exiting the Spanish League game against Murcia but they can feel relieved now.

According to Marca, the Argentinian guard’s injury wasn’t serious and he got the “OK” to play in the upcoming EuroLeague clash against arch-rival Barcelona, Thursday (14/12).

Thus Campazzo won’t be added to the absentees for the “Blancos”, a long list that includes Sergio Llull, Gustavo Ayon, Anthony Randolph and Ognjen Kuzmic.

Thursday’s game is rather important for both teams that will look for a much-needed improvement of their records in EuroLeague. Real Madrid comes from three consecutive losses (vs Panathinaikos, Crvena Zvezda, and Olympiacos) and stands at 5 – 6 while Barcelona is 4 – 7 after getting beaten by CSKA Moscow on the road and Fenerbahce at home.
