Fantasy: Guards on fire

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

The Eurohoops team hasn’t made the best possible start as, after the first three rounds, our tally is 354 points, which place us low in the overall ranking.

This means that increasing the total budget is not desirable but after a lot of thought and several changes, the starting roster ahead of the 4th round is deemed very strong.

Three changes and two players from Panathinaikos

The first and most important move is replacing Angelo Caloiaro with Ioannis Papapetrou. The Greek forward is coming off an excellent performance and his low price allows us to save more money for the other two changes.

More specifically, Chris Evans will give his place to Anthony Gill, since Khimki are burning for the win in Milan and the American will have to follow up on his very good performances.

Regarding the point guard position, Nate Wolters is out of the starting 8 and Sergio Llull is in. Here, however, the following clarification has to be made:

Zalgiris’s American is having a great season and, as a result, he has increased his price and is a very important choice. But it would be an exaggeration to have a 4th player from the same game on the starting roster (together with Calathes, Papapetrou, Davies) and this is why we decided to replace him.

Nando De Colo is once again the captain in the hope that he will not repeat last week’s score but will get something better.
