AX Armani Exchange Milano prevailed over Panathinaikos OPAP in Athens with an 86-83 victory in Round 14 of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. The Italian side bounces back from five consecutive losses and improves to a 7-7 record.

Matt Lojeski tried to be the hero of the night for the hosts, reducing the score to 83-84, though the final result was sealed by Nemanja Nedovic (10 p.)

Big man Arturas Gudaitis dominated the paint with 20 points and eight boards as Olimpia Milano managed to keep its lead in the final period when the hosts pressed and trimmed the deficit.

On the other end, Nick Calathes managed to keep his calm in the general turmoil and posted 24 points and 11 assists. It was quite an eventful week for Panathinaikos, as the Greens waived Xavi Pascual, with his successor Rick Pitino taking charge most likely in the next EuroLeague round.

Panathinaikos (6-8) had just one more issue to face, as Keith Langford was injured in the third period and had to leave for the lockers, before going to the hospital.
