The Crossover podcast with Joe Arlauckas and Keith Langford

A familiar face to any Turkish Airlines EuroLeague fan, Keith Langford of Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, takes the seat next to Joe Arlauckas in the newest episode of The Crossover podcast.

Langford, who won the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy twice in his previous seven EuroLeague seasons, has played for 14 teams in his pro career, and doesn’t mind being called a journeyman, because his extraordinary skills were always in demand and his adaptability let him meet — and surpass — each new challenge.

“One thing as a pro I’ve learned is you have to be able to adapt,” Langford tells Arlauckas.

Langford gives special importance to his relationship with former EuroLeague great J.R. Holden, his mentor from the time they were opponents in Moscow for Khimki and CSKA, respectively, earlier this decade.

“I was really fortunate because when I got to Russia, I met J.R. Holden, and it changed everything for me,” Langford tells listeners. “I encourage anyone coming overseas now to just be great where you are. That was one of the things that J.R. told me. Doesn’t matter where just be great where you are.”
