Brandon Davies scoops EuroLeague Round 30 MVP honors

Zalgiris Kaunas went down the wire to clinch a playoffs spot with its road win versus Real Madrid. The Lithuanian side ended the EuroLeague 2018-19 Regular Season on a six-game winning streak and Brandon Davies definitely put his mark on the decisive victory at Spain en route for the EuroLeague Regular Season Round 30 MVP award, his second weekly honor during the current campaign of Europe’s premier competition.

The 27-year-old American center led his team to the 93-86 win with a performance index rating of 34, the highest of the week. Davies matched his career-high pouring 27 points including 12 in the last five minutes of the contest. He also tallied ten boards for his third double-double of the season, made 10/15 from two-point range, dished two helpers, rejected one shot, drew five fouls and registered two steals.
