Crvena Zvezda head coach Milan Tomic has offered to resign at a club meeting held on Monday after a shocking defeat by Krka on the road, but President Nebojsa Covic immediately declined such a possibility, according to informer.rs.

Tomic was obviously disturbed during the team’s Sunday game when Krka go in the lead with less than two minutes remaining and even called his players to “play whatever they want” in one of the last time-outs of the game as shown in the video below, first reported by Sportska centrala.

Said meeting between the two sides lasted more than three hours and after long negotiations, Tomic agreed to continue on the team’s bench, but it is clear that some changes will occur soon. These changes do not concern the coaching staff, but reports mention further additions will be made to the club.
