Efes prevails, Fenerbahce is saved by the bell

Fenerbahce (12-4) sure likes to play with fire. The quality of Ekpe Udoh and a good team defense, with Bobby Dixon on the spotlight, prevented the upset in the hands of Ted Ankara (7-9), and gave another last second win to the team from Istanbul. Through the great game of Kalin Lukas (17 p. 8 r. 6 a.), the hosts were close to an amazing result but lost focus in the last two crucial plays.

Boosted by the appearance in Malaga, Anadolu Efes (13-3) spent an… enjoyable afternoon against Konyaspor having absolutely no problem to remain at the peak of the standings. Galatasaray (11-5) used the special touch of captain Sinan Guler in order to make things easy versus Trabzonspor (7-9), while Courtney Fortson made history, in a way, with his second triple/double this season (the first as in Eurocup) to help Banvit (10-4) keep its hold on the fourth position.

A place where Pinar Karsiyaka (10-4) and Darussafaka Dogus (10-4) also stand after their strong performances versus Besiktas (7-9) and Gaziantep (7-9) respectively. But if we have to specifically point out a win that impressed us, that was the one of Turk Telekom (4-12) on the road against Buyukcekmece (8-8). The pleasant surprise of the Turkish League was betrayed by its bad 3 point percentages (4/25 16%) bleeding profoundly on offense.
