The advanced talks of Demetris Nichols with Panathinaikos became a deal, since the American power forward signed a one-year contract with the Greens.
Nichols is coach Argiris Pedoulakis’ chosen one to fill the last remaining spot of a foreign player in the team’s roster, which is now completed.
He also discussed signing with the Greek club with Syracuse.com saying “It’s a great opportunity. They have a great tradition and great fans. I’m looking forward to it”.
The 2016 Euroleague champion with CSKA Moscow was preparing himself to continue his career in a top level European team adding that “I’m in great shape. And right where I want to be”.
UPDATE: Panathinaikos confirmed the deal.
