Milko Bjelica has been flirting with Crvena Zvezda during the summer and although negotiations seemed reaching a stalemate at one moment, he finally signed a two-year contract with the Serbian club.

Red Star officially announced Bjelica’s arrival, a sort of a homecoming, since the 32-year old player began playing basketball with the team in 2001, wearing its jersey until 2006.

The experienced forward/center had been a free agent after he was released by Darussafaka Dogus with which he averaged 7.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in last season’s Euroleague.
