In the conclusion of the 10th GameDay of the Italian League, Reggio Emilia (8-2) defeated Capo D’ Orlando (5-5) at home to continue holding the second place of the standings, right behind the perfect Olimpia Milano (10-0).

Once again Amedeo Della Valle fired plenty from downtown, finishing the game with 20 points and 5 three-pointers. Pietro Aradori added 15, Stefano Gentile 11 (plus 5 assists) and Achille Polonara 10 along with 6 rebounds for the winning side.

The duo of Dominique Archie (17 points) and Bruno Fitipaldo (17 points, 8 assists) paced the efforts of the guests, who paid for their lackluster defense in the second quarter (27 – 16), a period which more or less, gave Reggio Emilia the advantage needed for the final victory.

Avellino (7-3) fell to Reyer Venezia (7-3)  and this result brought them to the third place, where a three-tie now binds these two teams plus Caserta (7-3)
