Maurice Ndour moves from Rytas to Galatasaray

Maurice Ndour joined Galatasaray Nef, the team announced Thursday.

Ndour, 29, concluded his second stint at Rytas to move to the Turkish giant. He averaged 12.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 blocks per Basketball Champions League contest, and 11.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.1 blocks, and 0.6 steals per Betsafe LKL game until being forced to the sidelined due to injury in recent weeks.

Switching sides in the BCL Round of 16, he joins the Lions in Group I. In addition, the Senegalese international logged 30 games played in the 7DAYS EuroCup through his run with UNICS Kazan before becoming a fan favorite at Rytas. A stint in China with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls split the two stretches at the Lithuania capital.
