AEK continues to make significant moves this summer. Following the signing of the nine-year veteran Ben McLemore, the Athens club has now added the former 27th overall pick from the NBA draft, Mfiondu Kabengele.

The Greek club officially announced the signing of the 25-year-old Canadian center, who spent the last four years playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Boston Celtics in the NBA.

He also accumulated significant playing time in the G League, representing the Agua Caliente Clippers, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, and Maine Celtics.

Kabengele played 55 games in the NBA and 79 in the G League, impressively averaging 20 points and 10.8 rebounds with the Celtics’ affiliate team last season.

In addition to McLemore and Kabengele, AEK, which will compete in the Basketball Champions League next season, has recently also added former Crvena Zvezda point guard Langston Hall. More players confirmed on the 2023-24 roster are Manos Chatzidakis, Zois Karampelas, Giannis Kouzeloglou, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, Jordan McRae, and Omiros Netzipoglou.
