Will Cummings of Galatasaray, Melvin Ejim of Unicaja, Hunter Hale of AEK Betsson, Giorgi Shermadini of La Laguna Tenerife, and Kyle Weems of Bertram Derthona Tortona were picked for the latest edition of the Basketball Champions League Team of the Week.
The five standouts entered a fan vote on the official portal of the Champions League on Thursday. After the poll closes on Friday, the player with the most votes will be named the Quarterfinals Game 1 Player of the Week.
Cummings, 32, scored 33 points with 10/15 field goals, including four triples, helping Galatasaray steal homecourt advantage from ERA Nymburk.
Ejim, 34, fit 17 points in 17 minutes and an efficiency rating of 23 as Unicaja crushed UnaHotels Reggio Emilia.
Hale 27, paved the way for AEK to open a 1-0 lead over Nanterre 92 with 20 points.
Weems, 35, piling up 17 points with 7/10 from the field was not enough for Tortona in an overtime loss to Tenerife.
Shermadini, 36, put 19 points behind 9/10 field goals on the winning end of a meeting in Santiago Martin.
