A wave of signings across projected Basketball Champions League teams on Wednesday has triggered a significant shift across the European market as clubs finalize their rosters en route to the 2026–27 season.
Completing its first offseason addition, Cholet secured the services of Bosnian forward-center Miralem Halilovic on a two-year deal. The veteran brings the experience of 14 BCL games to the squad, alongside a proven track record across several European leagues. Simultaneously, the French club locked in 17-year-old rising star Aaron Towo-Nansi for three years.
In Turkiye, Safiport Erokspor finalized a contract with power forward James Webb III. The 32-year-old combo forward, recognized for winning the FIBA Intercontinental Cup with Unicaja, joins the Istanbul outfit with 36 games of Champions League experience under his belt. His new squad previously tabbed Muhsin Yasar, Yunus Emre Sonsırma, Egehan Arna, and Metehan Akyel for the upcoming campaign under the continued leadership of head coach Ufuk Sarica.
Meanwhile, Igokea m:tel successfully retained its foundational leadership. Team captain Dragan Milosavljevic penned a contract extension to remain in Laktasi for at least one more season. The 37-year-old Serbian guard-forward is set to add to his current BCL total of 19 appearances, all with the Bosnian powerhouse.
Roster restructuring also extended to teams expected to compete in the Qualification Rounds, including Rio Breogan acquiring versatile guard Josep Peris on a one-year agreement. Additionally, reigning Finnish champions Salon Vilpas initiated their international recruitment by picking up winger Karl Chavis to bolster their backcourt.
