Basketball Champions League teams continued to reshape their rosters ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Joventut Badalona has officially announced the signing of Bosnian international Emir Sulejmanović on a two-year contract, keeping the experienced forward with the club through the end of the 2027-28 season.
The 30-year-old arrives to strengthen Joventut’s frontcourt after spending last season with Unicaja, where he averaged 6.4 points and 4.4 rebounds across the ACB League and Basketball Champions League.
As Eurohoops previously reported, Galatasaray has officially announced the signing of Nigerian international Chimezie Metu. The 28-year-old forward/center arrives with extensive NBA and EuroLeague experience after previously playing for the San Antonio Spurs, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns and Detroit Pistons, as well as Barcelona and Gran Canaria in Spain.
The 2.08-meter big man played more than 250 NBA games before moving to Europe in 2024. He averaged 11.0 points and 4.8 rebounds in the EuroLeague with Barcelona, while posting 13.2 points in the Spanish League. After joining Gran Canaria midway through the 2025-26 campaign, Metu finished the season with averages of 14.1 points and 4.4 rebounds in Liga Endesa.
Hapoel Holon strengthened its frontcourt by signing American power forward Greg Lee, who arrives after averaging 10.1 points and 4.0 rebounds for La Rochelle in France.
The Israeli club also added versatile guard Rivaldo Soares on a one-year deal with an option for a second season. The 26-year-old spent last season with Dziki Warszawa, posting 11.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game, after previously playing for Telekom Baskets Bonn.
Bamberg Baskets, meanwhile, bolstered their domestic rotation with the signing of German international Joshua Obiesie on a one-year contract. The versatile 26-year-old guard/wing returns to Germany after spells with JDA Dijon and AEK Athens, having most recently represented Basketball Löwen Braunschweig.
Spartak Subotica also continued an ambitious offseason after winning the Serbian League title. The club officially announced the arrival of experienced Serbian guard Marko Jeremić, whose résumé includes stints with FMP, Mornar, Cedevita Olimpija and Igokea, as well as appearances for the Serbian national team during the EuroBasket 2022 qualifiers.
Jeremić joins a list of new signings that already includes Matt Coleman, Jalon Pipkins and Alonzo Gaffney, while Danilo Nikolić and Igor Drobnjak have both signed contract extensions, ensuring continuity for a team preparing for its another Basketball Champions League campaign.
