Asisa Joventut welcomed Kwan Cheatham Jr. on Saturday, solidifying their roster ahead of a demanding 2026–27 campaign in the Basketball Champions League. Securing a one-year agreement, the 30-year-old forward-center brings experience from 18 BCL appearances with UnaHotels Reggio Emilia into a competitive Group H slate that includes matchups against Bnei PenLink Herzliya, Porto, and Telekom Baskets Bonn.

Fellow championship contenders are making strategic upgrades to their own lineups. Galatasaray MCT Technic strengthened their backcourt rotation by confirming a Eurohoops report about the signing of Montenegrin point guard Nikola Ivanovic for their upcoming Group B schedule. Also on Saturday, Group D’s UCAM Murcia reconfigured their perimeter by landing 27-year-old combo guard Souley Boum.

On Friday, Cholet completed its roster under head coach Fabrice Lefrancois by locking down a one-year deal with Caleb Daniels. The 27-year-old guard is poised to bounce back from injury and make his continental debut in Group F.

Further shaking up the competition, Bonn infused depth into their rotation by securing combo guard John-Michael Wright on a two-year contract. After spending his initial professional seasons playing domestically in Croatia and Czechia, this move signals his first foray into elite European tournaments.

Meanwhile, Juventus finalized a nostalgic reunion in Group E by re-signing 39-year-old Gintautas Matulis, who returns to the Utena outfit holding franchise records for the most games played, total points scored, and steals recorded. The Lithuanian side also tabbed 28-year-old Jack Pagenkopf for the next season.

Rounding out the most recent wave, the Bakken Bears focused on internal continuity for the Qualification Rounds by inking Anton Katholm to a one-year contract extension.
