Kevin Punter: “We will try to bring it home”

On Sunday, AEK Athens will fight for the trophy against AS Monaco in the Basketball Champions League Final. As the trophy itself isn’t enough of the motive, they gain an extra push from the fact that it is the 50 year anniversary of the Greek team winning the European Cup Winners’ Cup.

One of the team’s go-to players so far, Kevin Punter, talked to the press and shared his expectations of the Final game. He is optimistic and believes in his team’s victory as long as they stay focused and respect the game plan while also having a good support from the stands: “For sure. Just like last night. It’s always good when you are home. We expect for it to be even more people tomorrow and we are just ready to try and bring it home”.
