Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic would definitely like to leave the 2020 All-Star game with the Kobe Bryant MVP award in his bags.

And why not? After all, he scored two baskets and finished with five points for Team Lebron in the 157-155 win over Team Giannis. Pure MVP material.

“I scored two times. I was so happy. They snubbed me for the MVP award. Doesn’t matter, next year,” Jokic said after the game while, what else, joking.

This was the second All-Star game appearance for Jokic, who’s becoming 25 years old in two days (19/2). The Serbian center is averaging career-highs 20.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 6.9 assists while the Denver Nuggets are sitting second in the Western Conference standings at a 38 – 17 record.
