Luka Doncic was a fan of Real Madrid long before joining the academies of the club in 2012 and at 13 years of age.
“Always Real Madrid. I always watched Real Madrid. I always liked Real Madrid,” Doncic said when asked by Steve Nash which was his team while growing up.
As Real Madrid fan, apart from a player, Doncic admitted to being completely starstruck when he first had a chance to interact with his absolute favorite: Cristiano Ronaldo. “I was 16 when I met him, I was so nervous I couldn’t even talk,” Doncic said.
