The release date of the highly-anticipated Michael Jordan-1990s Bulls documentary “The Last Dance” by ESPN and its partners will be aired earlier than originally set, on April 19.

“The Last Dance” is a 10-part series that focuses on footage from the final Jordan-Bulls championship run from 1997-98 season and was scheduled to air in June in conjunction with the NBA Finals.

“The Last Dance” takes an in-depth look at the Chicago Bulls’ dynasty through the lens of the final championship in 1997-98. The Bulls allowed an NBA Entertainment crew to follow them around for that entire season, and some of that never-before-seen footage will be in the documentary.

“Michael Jordan and the ’90s Bulls weren’t just sports superstars, they were a global phenomenon,” director Jason Hehir said in a statement. “Making ‘The Last Dance’ was an incredible opportunity to explore the extraordinary impact of one man and one team. For nearly three years, we searched far and wide to present the definitive story of an era-defining dynasty and to present these sports heroes as humans. I hope viewers enjoy watching our series as much as we enjoyed the opportunity to make it.”

Two, one-hour episodes will air each Sunday between April 19-May 17 and will be available for streaming through Netflix in the following dates:

  • Monday, April 20: Episodes 1, 2
  • Monday, April 27: Episodes 3, 4
  • Monday, May 4: Episodes 5, 6
  • Monday, May 11: Episodes 7, 8
  • Monday, May 18: Episodes 9, 10
