Luka Doncic has huge triple-double in Mavs’ win over Bucks

Luka Doncic posted his 17th triple-double this season to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 136 – 132 overtime win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Doncic scored 36 points, dished out a career-high 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to pace the Mavericks. He also scored the last seven points of the regulation to force the extra period.

On the other side, Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 34 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks for the Bucks. Milwaukee had already clinched top spot in the Eastern Conference thanks to their victory over the Miami Heat Thursday.

Apart from Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds while Maxi Kleber scored 15 in the Mavericks’ 42nd win this season.

The Phoenix Suns captured their fifth straight win in Orlando by defeating the Miami Heat 119 – 112 to stay the only unbeaten team of the NBA restart. Ricky Rubio contributed a diverse output of seven points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in the win while Dario Saric had 10 points and eight boards off the bench.

TJ Warren had a 39-point performance as the Indiana Pacers downed the Los Angeles Lakers 116 – 101.

Earlier on Saturday, Nikola Jokic led the Denver Nuggets to an overtime win over the Utah Jazz. Jusuf Nurkic flirted with the triple-double as the Portland Trail Blazers fell to the Los Angeles Clippers.
