Serb big man Nikola Jokic had a good game with 20 points, seven rebounds, and five assists but he couldn’t lead the Nuggets to one more surprising come back. The LA Lakers got the 117-107 win (4-1) and the ticket to the NBA finals.

LeBron James sealed the deal with a triple-double (38 p. 16 r. 10 as.) taking the Lakers on his back and closing the Western Finals series with a bang. Anthony Davis added 27 points, while Alex Caruso and Danny Green had 11 points each.

Jokic once again had to fight with foul troubles, still, he was the best from the Nuggets. Jamal Murray playing injured scored 19 points, Jerami Grant had 20, but the Nuggets despite trying to stay close in the game and trailing just by three at the end of the third (87-84) couldn’t keep up with LeBron.

The King got his wish and he will have the chance to lead three different franchises to NBA titles. No one has won the Finals MVP award with three different teams and LeBron might end up being the first ever to do it on his 17th NBA season and his 10th finals appearance.
