Filip Petrusev has withdrawn from the 2020 NBA Draft, his agent announced. Petrusev’s Mega Soccerbet teammates in forward Nikola Miskovic plus Split forward Darko Bajo (Bosnia) also chose to not participate in this year’s Draft. On the other hand, center Marko Simonovic decided to keep his name in.

Following his withdrawal, Petrusev is becoming auto-eligible for the 2021 Draft.

Petrusev, who was projected as a possible late second-round pick, has been having a standout presence in ABA League, few months into his first season as a professional. The 20-year-old forward/center has been averaging 21.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 30:00 minutes, helping Mega to a 4-2 record.

Earlier this month, Petrusev was named ABA League October MVP.
