Turkish star Alperen Sengun, who plays for the Houston Rockets in the NBA, is preparing for his sixth season in the league.
Having had another great season in his career, Alperen will be one of the two most important assets of his team in the new season, alongside Kevin Durant.
Continuing his preparations for the new season, Sengun spoke to the press at the media day event organized by the Rockets. Alperen stated that he wants to be ‘the best player in the NBA’ one day.
“Every year brings different expectations, and they just keep getting bigger and bigger. That’s how you become a better player. I want to be the best player in this league one day. It’s good to be having those expectations. It’s making me a better player, it’s making me a better person… I love those pressures. It’s just making me a better player every year…
If I did 20, I can do 25. If I can do 25, I can do 30. It’s just going to be like putting yourself in the right position and the right mental, thinking about this stuff.”
