Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant has been placed in health and safety protocols and is listed as out for the game vs. the Utah Jazz.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski, “Kevin Durant’s facing a 7-day quarantine under league protocols because of exposure to a positive COVID-19 case, sources tell ESPN. He had the coronavirus in May, continues to register antibodies and has tested negative in multiple recents tests. He’d miss 4 games in next week.”

The Nets have lost four of their five last games and have already been short-handed due to Spencer Dinwiddie’s season-ending injury.

Durant has been averaging 28.2 points, seven rebounds, and 4.8 assists over six games this season and the Nets coach Steve Nash will have to find a way to soften the blow in the upcoming duels.
