The 2021 NBA Draft is getting closer and it will feature quite a bit of European talent, however, only two prospects will get the chance to wait for their turn from the green room.

According to Jonathan Givony, Alperen Sengun and Franz Wagner are among the 20 names that received invites for the green room. The other players included are the following: Cade Cunningham, Jalen Green, Evan Mobley, Jalen Suggs, Jon Kuminga, Scottie Barnes, Davion Mitchell, James Bouknight, Keon Johnson, Josh Giddey, Jalen Johnson, Corey Kispert, Moses Moody, Kai Jones, Cam Thomas, Ziaire Williams, Chris Duarte, Isaiah Jackson.

Sengun (born July 2002) has been one of the most anticipated prospects for this year’s draft, especially after his great display on all fronts this past season including the showing on the Turkish national team. He also won the MVP in the domestic league while playing for Besiktas.

Wagner (born August 2001), started his career in Europe with Alba Berlin, playing for the club’s younger selections as well as for the senior team. He moved to the States in 2019 and has been attending (and playing for) the University of Michigan. He is the younger brother of the Orlando Magic center Moe Wagner.
