Kyle Lowry traded to Miami for Goran Dragic

The scenario of a sign-and-trade deal that will send Kyle Lowry to Miami, proved to be more than accurate. As Lowry himself announced on social media, he is moving to the Heat and that will be done via a sign-and-trade deal.

Per Adrian Wojnarowski, Lowry has agreed to a three-year deal for approximately $90 million and Toronto will get Goran Dragic and also Precious Achiuwa, and a future 2nd round pick.

The possibility of Dragic moving to Toronto was already reported, however, it remains unclear if the Raptors will keep him, or if they will buy out his expiring contract which ends in the summer of 2022.

If that’s the case, then per Tim Reynolds of AP, Dragic “would “obviously” have interest in joining Luka Doncic and Igor Koskosov in Dallas”, while other possible suitors, including the Lakers, may appear.
