Yogi Ferrell doesn’t rule out move to Europe

NBA guard Yogi Ferrell has become a free agent after the Los Angeles Clippers waived him and is now looking at his options.

According to Eurohoops sources, Ferrell’s priority is to find a contract in the NBA but he doesn’t rule out moving to Europe to play overseas for the first time in his career.

Europe has emerged as strong option and maybe the only choice outside the NBA for many players since there aren’t many spots on the league’s rosters and China is practically closing its doors to foreigners.

Ferrell, 28, joined the Clippers in April and averaged 4.6 points and 2.1 assists in eight regular season games while also appearing in nine postseason matches. Throughout his career in the NBA, the former Indiana Hoosier has overall played 259 regular season games, averaging 7.7 points, 2.3 assists and 2.1 rebounds with the Brooklyn Nets, Dallas Mavericks, Sacramento Kings, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Clippers.
