Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot is moving to the Atlanta Hawks. According to The Athletic’s Chris Kirschner, the French swingman has signed a one-year, non-guaranteed deal to continue his career in Atlanta.

He will become the fourth European player on the Hawks’ roster after Bogdan Bogdanovic, Clint Capela, Danilo Gallinari.

Luwawu-Cabarrot will be joining the Hawks following a quite successful run in the Olympic Games. The 26-year-old player had a solid contribution of 9.0 points and 3.5 rebounds to help the French national team make the Final in Tokyo and win its first Olympic medal in 21 years.

During the last two seasons, Luwawu-Cabarrot played with the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 7.1 points and 2.5 rebounds in 18.1 minutes over 105 regular season games.

After missing the NBA playoffs for three straight years last season the Hawks made the Eastern Conference Finals where they were eliminated by Milwaukee Bucks, who went on to win the championship.
