Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant has suffered torn ligaments in his right thumb and will be out indefinitely, according to Shams Charania.

He sustained the injury during the game against the New Orleans Pelicans, in which his thumb was bent back awkwardly when he hit the floor for a loose ball. Grant returned to the game and played for the rest of the night.

Grant has been the leading scorer for the Pistons so far this season, averaging 20.1 points while also adding 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest.
