Ja Morant put on a night to remember with 52 points in the win over the Sacramento Kings with a number of incredible plays. It came as no surprise that he amassed huge attention across social media, even breaking some records.

The poster dunk over Jakob Poeltl and a unique buzzer-beater were a big part of the spotlight. The latter set a record as the most-watched video in NBA history when it comes to Instagram.

The video reached 42.1 million views, part of more than 80 million views Morant amassed in the entire game.

Morant also amassed 385 million views on NBA social this season, making him the third-most views of any player in the NBA. He comes in behind Steph Curry and LeBron James on the list.

That is a highly impressive achievement, especially for a player competing in the league’s smallest market.

Morant is currently averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 5.9 rebounds while shooting 49.8% from the field and 33.4% from deep.
