A 50-piece, a poster-dunk over a 7-footer and a unique buzzer-beater – Ja Morant did it all

Memphis Grizzlies logged a 118-105 win over the San Antonio Spurs,  improving their record to 43-20 in the third spot of the Western Conference, and it was all thanks to an inspiring display by Ja Morant.

Morant, just two days after setting a franchise record of 46 points against the Chicago Bulls, succeeded in putting on an even more breath-taking performance. He scored 52 points while also treating the fans with a dunk over the big man Jakob Poeltl (16 points, ten boards) as well as an interesting buzzer-beater.

The shot at the halftime buzzer was no ordinary one either. Steven Adams delivered a full-court pass to Morant, who caught the ball in midair and made it – from the left baseline.

“Something I’ll probably never be able to do again,” Morant said about the buzzer-beater.

Meanwhile, the Milwaukee Bucks got the job done against the Charlotte Hornets with 130-106, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo who put up 26 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists.

Jrue Holiday scored 21 (eight assists, six boards) and Bobby Portis 20 points (ten boards). LaMelo Ball had 24 points on the other side.

Although the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves and Cedi Osman took responsibility for it, he had a solid output with 21 points.

As for the rest of the notable European displays, Domantas Sabonis had 14-16-7 while Franza Wagner scored 15 and Nikola Vucevic 14 points.
