Free-agent point guard Jalen Brunson decided to sign a four-year, nearly $110M deal with the New York Knicks, per multiple reports.

Brunson emerged as the second-best player of Dallas, especially during the postseason, and never gave to the Mavs the chance to resign him, denying a meeting with them.

Meanwhile, the Knicks had already created room in their salary cap in order to make Brunson’s addition, so the writings were already on the wall.

Brunson averaged 21.6 points during the playoffs including 41 and 31-point performances against the Utah Jazz in the first round.
