Luka Doncic tied the 60-years old record of Wilt Chamberlain

Dallas edged Utah 103-100, returned to a positive score (4-3), and it is not difficult to guess that Luka Doncic was once again the most effective individual in his team and that the Mavs achieved victory mostly thanks to his performance.

Doncic finished the match with 33 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds, so the opportunity to achieve a new triple-double was missed. But that is not the story of the night.

The incredible Doncic became only the third player in NBA history to score over 30 points in each of the first seven games of the season.

More precisely, it’s the first since Wilt Chamberlain from the 1962-63 season, which means that we have not seen such a case in the NBA for 60 years.

Chamberlain twice in his career managed to start the first seven matches of the season with 30+ points, the first time in 1959-60 – when Jack Twyman also did it.

UPDATE: Luka Doncic added one more 30+ game in the start of the season
