Amid trade rumors, Russell Westbrook is reported by ESPN to had a “brief” yet “heated” verbal exchange with Los Angeles Lakers coach Darvin Ham during the halftime break of the game of the team against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Or, as otherwise known, the match in which LeBron James became the NBA’s all-time leading scorer.

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Westbrook and Ham exchanged words in a loud manner as Ham expressed his complaints to Westbrook regarding how he remained on the court after he was called to the bench in a substitution.

It didn’t seem to be much of a crisis though since the two of them talked about the goal at hand: Winning the game. Which didn’t happen since the Thunder prevailed. Westbrook finished the game with 27 points, 14 of them in the final period.

After the loss, which dropped the Lakers at 25-30 and the 13th spot in the Western Conference standings, Westbrook and coach Ham “dapped up” as Woj wrote.
