Giannis Antetokounmpo exhibited the type of passion and energy he carries as a player in his duties as coach of Team Dwyane Wade in the 2023 All-Star Celebrity Game. And the result was a win.

Team Wade beat Team Ryan Smith 81 – 78 with Seattle Seahawks star DK Metcalf claiming MVP after posting 20 points plus 10 rebounds.

Giannis, assisted by his older brother and Milwaukee Bucks teammate Thanasis and his younger brother Alex, lived the game to the fullest, giving instructions and celebrating the win after a quite wild finale.

Apart from Wade himself, Giannis coached such celebrities as WNBA All-Star Arike Ogunbowale, comedian Hasan Minhaj, rapper 21 Savage, singer/actor Nicky Jam and actor Simu Liu, widely known for his participation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The latter appeared with a t-shirt that had a photo of him and the Bucks’ great.

Antetokoumpo showed his appreciation to Wade, telling him how he loved the way he won the 2006 NBA championship with the Miami Heat and how this inspired him to do it the same way with Milwaukee.
