One of the most balanced series in the First Round of the 2024-25 NBA Playoffs thus far has continued to impress in Game 3, where the Minnesota Timberwolves enjoyed a home victory against the Lakers.
Anthony Edwards flirted with a triple-double, ending at 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists, to inspire his team to the 116-104 victory against Luka Doncic and teammates, as they are now leading the series 2-1 against the purple-and-yellow franchise.
“It was so loud in there. That was probably the most fun I’ve had in Target Center,” the Minnesota Timberwolves’ superstar commented with satisfaction after the win.
On the other end, Luka Doncic struggled to make an impact and finished with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, but also 5 turnovers, shooting 6/16 from the field, including 2/8 from deep.
As stated by the Los Angeles Lakers’ beat reporter Mike Trudell, the former Dallas Mavericks superstar “has been dealing with an upset stomach, lasting up through pregame.” He also added that he had “low energy, but he wanted to compete.”
LeBron James had another monster night at 38 points and 10 rebounds, being also the protagonist of an exceptional night shooting-wise at 13/21 from the field and 5/9 from the arc.
