The Minnesota Timberwolves and Golden State Warriors are tied 1-1 after two Western Conference semifinal games in Minneapolis.

After losing the first game, the hosts bounced back with a convincing 117–93 win over the Warriors, who were without the injured Steph Curry.

Minnesota also had an injury scare, as Anthony Edwards was helped off the court midway through the second quarter. Fortunately for the Wolves, he returned in the second half and finished the game with 20 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.

Julius Randle led the way for the winning side with 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Canadian guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker contributed 20 points off the bench.

French center Rudy Gobert didn’t have his best game, finishing with five points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes, but he wasn’t needed much as Minnesota dominated most of the match.

On the other side, Jonathan Kuminga had 18 points, Jimmy Butler added 17, and Draymond Green received his fifth technical foul of the Playoffs—just two away from a suspension. Curry is expected to miss at least one more game and could be sidelined for a week.
