Kevin Garnett considers retirement

It’s quite possible that we will soon see Kevin Garnett calling it a day after 21 seasons in the NBA.

As ESPN reports, not only is Garnett in advanced talks with the Minnesota Timberwolves regarding a contract settlement that will release him from the team, but might opt to end his career.

At least that’s what they believe in Minneapolis.

The 40-year old power forward has $8 million left in his current contract and he is still a bit “undecided”, according to club owner Glen Taylor.

Garnett has spent the vast majority of his career playing for the Timberwolves, being the most prominent franchise player of the team in the last 20 years. He left in 2007 to join the Boston Celtics with which he won his first NBA ring after 12 seasons in the league.
