Last night, San Antonio Spurs capture a win over the Mavs, 97-91. The end result was a win for coach Gregg Popovich, and a new record for becoming the fastest coach in NBA history with 500 road wins.
He got there in 835 away games, 41 fewer than Pat Riley. Those two and Don Nelson are the only coaches to win 500 on the road.
