Milos fined for his… “explosion” in Vitoria

Milos Teodosic reaction towards the referee after he wasn’t called with a foul in the last minute of the game between Laboral Kutxa and CSKA Moscow in Vitoria, will make him pay a fine to the Euroleague. Here is the related press release:

Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 4 of the Turkish Airlines Euroleague Top 16. The sanctions are based on infractions of the competition by-laws that all teams are aware of and obliged to fulfill. The following sanctions were handed down for Top 16 Round 4:

  • The protest made by CSKA is dismissed.
  • Milos Teodosic has been sanctioned with a fine of 4,500€ for acts that show lack of respect towards a member of the officiating crew under Article 27.2 (b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
