Vince Carter to come back for the record-breaking 22nd NBA season

Vince Carter confirmed to his teammate Kent Bazemore on ‘Winging It’ podcast that he plans to play next season as well. He also noted that he would like to stay with the Atlanta Hawks.

Carter and Dirk Nowitzki completed their 21st NBA seasons and joined Robert Parish, Kevin Willis and Kevin Garnett as the longest-tenured players in league history. If he continues for another season, Carter would be alone at the top of the list.

The 42-year-old played 76 games for the Hawks this season averaging 7.7 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 17.5 minutes. He has scored 25,430 points so far in his career which rank 20th in league history.
