Morey scouting Adetokunbo

Houston Rockets are a team with international flavor and that trend may continue. After OKC GM Sam Prestie and Boston’s director of player personnel Austin Ainge, Daryl Morey, the Rockets’ GM, traveled to Athens in order to attend the Tuesday practice of a second division team, Filathlitikos, featuring 18 years old Giannis Adetokunbo. Morey’s trip was focused on him and doesn’t have an other stop in Europe. Arturas Karnisovas, the Lithuanian former player of Olympiacos and Barcelona who is now Rocket’s director of scouting was accompanying Morey on this trip.

At this point is more than obvious not only that Adetokunbo will enter the draft, but also that he will probably stay in it, hoping to get drafted in the first round. He has already signed for next season with Spanish team Zaragoza, however his contract has a comfortable NBA out.

It's very odd how none of these NBA team are looking at the brother Thanasis Adetokoubo. Considering he has a 43 inch vertical leap and is obviously one of the best (if not in fact the best) pure athletes available in the entire draft.
