Nothing really out of ordinary happened this weekend in VTB league as even the road defeat of Euroleague participant Lietuvos Rytas to Spartak S. Petersburg can’t really count as an upset. With all the teams having played so far four games, the top still belongs to Unics Kazan (4-0) in Group A, followed by Donetsk (3-1) and Lokomotiv Kuban (3-1), while in Group B Khimki and CSKA Moscow are still perfect (4-0) having already a two wins distance from the third place. However, CSKA Moscow beat Tsmoki Minsk on the road just by four point (66-62) proving once again that there are questions about coach Messina’s team.
