When asked about whether he’d prefer to make it to the NBA playoffs or win a medal with Latvia, the New York Knicks player was clear: “Both. I want it all.”
As for his experience in EuroBasket so far: “I’m enjoying it a lot. I love basketball. I love that my family is here. It’s a little bit different than the NBA.”
“This summer I’ve also grown a lot as a player. I have different responsibilities with the Latvian NT, but I’ve improved my game this summer. That’s why I’m so excited what I’ve worked on.”
