MoraBanc Andorra added depth to its backcourt ahead of its 7DAYS EuroCup debut campaign by signing point guard Jaime Fernandez to a three-year deal, club announced on Friday.

Jaime Fernandez (1.86 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Estudiantes Madrid, club where he grew up and where he averaged 7.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per Spanish League game last season. Fernandez returns to EuroCup after making his debut in the competition as a 17-year old with Estudiantes in 2010-11 season, and posted 3.7 points in limited action. In the past, Fernandez has been a regular member of Spanish youth categories, and has won gold medals at the U16 European Championships in 2009 as well as U18 European Championships in 2011, while he also won bronze medal at the U20 European Championships in 2013.
