The international center had agreed to a 5+5 months contract extension with Darussafaka on summer and the option that would keep him in the team for the remainder of the season will not be activated by the club, as reported by Turkish Bein Sports.
Erden averaged 4 points and 3.4 rebounds in 14:44 minutes per game in EuroLeague plus 5.7 points and 4 rebounds in 12 minutes per game in the Turkish League. He was facing some problems with his left shoulder and, as Bein Sports also mentioned, he’s going to have a surgery to solve them.
