While speaking to basketball.de Hoeness confirmed that the team will have a new arena soon and this plan is linked with Bayern Munich being part of the EuroLeague.
As he said: “We are currently in talks with the EuroLeague in order to be able to become a partner. We are negotiating a license for the Euroleague. Because if we are going to play in such a modern hall in a few years, we need of course also appropriate opponents”.
