Panathinaikos used the clause in Chris Singleton’s contract and extended him for next season, but CSKA Moscow is trying to acquire the player.

The American forward who was one of Panathinaikos star players during last season, has only an NBA out clause at his contract which expires at the 20th of July.

However, according to Eurohoops sources CSKA Moscow already made a $ 3.6 million offer for a two year deal to the player.

Of course in order for any deal with CSKA Moscow to happen, Panathinaikos must allow it and probably receive a buy out, if they decide to let the player go. What’s certain is that CSKA is more than interested, they are moving in order to get Singleton and the fate of the player will be decided in the next few days.
