Olympiacos continues searching for a point guard in order to complete its backcourt lineup and is now courting Brian Roberts.
According to Eurohoops sources, the 2017 EuroLeague finalists have already made a move for the 31-year-old American guard and are currently waiting for his answer. In the meantime, Roberts is looking to exhaust his chances regarding finding a guaranteed contract in the NBA.
Roberts possesses the elements Olympiacos head coach Giannis Sfairopoulos is looking for in a player plus he carries a two-year EuroLeague experience from his stint with Brose Bamberg in 2010-2012. An important criterion for Sfairopoulos.
During the last five years, Roberts has been playing in the NBA. Last season he averaged 3.5 points, 1.5 assists and 1 rebounds in 10 minutes per game with the Charlotte Hornets.
